If you click on the field in question first to highlight the row and then click again you can edit the field. Even in PM mode you must enter the coordinates that way. If you then build from the grid table the edit will stick in route table and will be exported that way. In FSB 2. That file is ints.

I should note make all of your initial build in the route line with the build from grid option off since there is no grid yet. Then if you need to edit the grid enable that build option so your changes will not be wiped out by the route line.
When all is well turn on your export options and then build. Also note that when saving in FSB the route it only saves what is in the route line plus your airports. It does not save any grid changes. That is the advantage of doing as many changes as possible in the route line. To save the route line go to flightplan view. Check for spelling errors with the ICAO code. One of the Navaids in my Flight Plan on the active Flight box the grid does not have a name displayed for it. IF Navaid on active flight plan page has no name displayed, Fsbuild did not find a match for it in the database, so it left it blank.
Tutorial 3 has step by step details on how add or Modify Navaids, and Airways. Is it possible for Fsbuild to Generate a route between Navaids, not just Airports? No, all Flights must have a departure, and destination airport defined to build correctly in Fsbuild. The Auto Generator does not start if a stored flight plan is found. This is by design, to auto generate a plan between two points when one is already in the database is superflous.
A stored Flight plan is likely better than anything the auto The only way to override this if you really must is to go into the database and remove or comment out the stored flight plan. Can this feature be temporarily turned off so I can use an alternate route rather than the one stored in Fsbuild.
If you create your own routes, then save them in FSbuild. How do I add a new filter group. Australia, or My favorites? How do I assign the Flight Plans I want to a particular filter. Tutorial 3 has step by step details on how add or remove filters in FSbuild. Is it possible to "Force" the autogenerator to use the North Atlantic Tracks,and overseas airways? Unfortunately no, the autogenerator is sort of building a route along a great circle line from the departure to the destination. The NA Track wouldn't necessarily fall along that GC line between the two points since they are generally fixed to handle most traffic between the 2 continents per day.
On entering my own intersections I realize there is a navaid with the same ID in another part of the world from where I wish to place my Navaid. Will this be a problem for Fsbuild?
For the most part there is no problem with duplicate Navaids. If FSbuild finds an intersection ID that is greater than miles from your last waypoint it looks to find another intersection of the same name. There's small level of deviation allowed I think its 10 or 15 degrees. You should be able to select the SID from the pulldown menu.
