Report inappropriate content using these instructions. When I looked through that log, I noticed that the only events in it were related to installing printers and their associated drivers. So opening up the Applications and Services Logs folder, expanding the Microsoft folder, expanding the Windows folder, and scrolling down to PrintServices I found an Operational log, that had nothing in it.
It turns out the default setting for this log is off, even if you pick the File and Print server role which seems a bit counter-intuitive to me. Now if anyone know why Microsoft insists on making each version of the OS more unfriendly with even more clicks to complete a task, please let me know.

Olivia This person is a verified professional. We have been unable to enable this feature in R2. I would like to know if there is a way in R2 to enable informational print logs or, if there is not, if this functionality has been replaced with some other method for reporting print queue utalization. Enable it in the event log. Right-click enable. I tried the same, and I print a document named as Monthly statement and took print out from the printer.
I took 3 print out of the same file at one time and there was 10 page in each so total was 30 pages. When I went back to event viewer and checked the logs, so I came to know that there was 1 print job handle by user1 and took a printout of a excel file monthly statement
