It reminds me of fold music from Holland. Down Again Download the. This is a slow, sad piano piece with synth string backing. It has a wide dynamic range and free rhythm style of playing. It's done in a minor key giving it what we Westerners associate with sad or depressing music. This piece was inspired by Holst's "The Planets"; in particular, the Mars theme in that work. This is a soft rock type of song, without the lyrics. I had originally planned to write lyrics for the piece, but never could come up with anything suitable.
As I compose my music around melodies, and have never composed a song around existing lyrics, creating lyrics for and existing melody proved more difficult than I wanted to bother with.
