I'm not clear on what this site brings other than an aggregation point for a search of schools. I would think there is a more direct route to get the license if you are eligible. Just curious that if updated the software in the future do we need to use the academic email again? What happened after you graduate from the school? Can we still be able to update it or not?
BTW - for those who are in fact eligible, typically you might have more than one functioning email addresses at your work or school domain. For example, I found both my normal ' name work. Handy when you have more than one computer in the household needing Office. How does it work? I do not see any links for work emails.
